È online il bando della seconda edizione dell'Andaras Traveling Film Festival, che si terrà a Fluminimaggiore dal 22 al 26 luglio 2020.
Il nostro festival è dedicato a tutti coloro per i quali girare intorno al mondo, conoscere terre e genti lontane, è la via più breve per giungere a sé stessi.
Anche se il viaggio non può essere determinato dal solo movimento, dal puro spostarsi geografico da un luogo a un altro. Perché, più che qualsiasi altra attività umana, il viaggiare è stato d’animo, ricerca, conoscenza di sé e degli altri, testimonianza, punto di partenza di ogni arrivo.
Viaggiava Ulisse, viaggiano i migranti di oggi come i nostri di ieri, viaggiano i turisti di crociera e chi va per il mondo a guadagnarsi da vivere, i navigatori solitari e i volontari delle Ong, i giornalisti e gli scrittori, i fotografi e i registi che il mondo vogliono raccontare.
Il festival sarà diviso in cinque giornate, ciascuna delle quali dedicata alla proiezione delle opere in concorso, a incontri con filmmakers, scrittori e fotografi, al buon cibo e alla buona musica.
Sono previste quattro diverse categorie in concorso:
1. i “cortissimi” dedicata a cortometraggi sia di fiction che documentaristici della durata massima di 180 secondi; 2. i “corti doc” dedicata a cortometraggi non di fiction della durata massima di 30 minuti;
3. i “corti e via” dedicata a cortometraggi di fiction della durata massima di 20 minuti;
5. i "gazes from the world", categoria dallo stile libero dedicata a cortometraggi sperimentali, di finzione e documentaristici con durata massima di 15 minuti.
I lavori inviati dovranno avere come tema il viaggio, declinato in una qualunque delle sue molteplici sfaccettature.

Our Festival is dedicated to all of those for whom traveling around the world, knowing distant lands and people, is the shortest way to reach oneself. Even if the journey can not be determined by movement alone, by the pure geographic shift from one place to another, because, more than any other human activity, traveling is a mood, a search, a knowledge of oneself and of others, a witness, the starting point of every arrival. Ulysses was traveling, today's migrants are traveling like yesterday's, cruise tourists are traveling and the world is making a living, solitary navigators and NGO volunteers, journalists and writers, photographers and filmmakers who would want to tell the worlds stories.
The Festival will be divided into four days, each of which is dedicated to the screening of the works in competition, to meetings with filmmakers, writers and photographers, good food and good music.
There are four different categories in the competition:
1. the "very short" dedicated to short films both fiction and documentary films with a maximum duration of 180 seconds;
2. the "corti doc" dedicated to non-fiction short films with a maximum duration of 30 minutes;
3. the "corti e via" dedicated to fiction short films with a maximum duration of 20 minutes;
4. the "gazes from the world", dedicated to fiction, experimental and documentary short films, not strictly connected with others categories, with a maximum duration of 15 minutes.
The works sent must have the theme “The trip”, expressed in any of its many facets.
