Andaras Traveling Film Festival 2026 - The call for entries for the 8th edition is now online.

The Andaras Traveling Film Festival opens the call for submissions for its eighth edition, taking place from 6 to 11 July 2026 across the towns of Fluminimaggiore, Buggerru, and Iglesias, in Sardinia.

The central theme of this edition is “Frontiers”, understood as spaces of passage and transformation. Geographical, cultural, social, and intimate frontiers, where travel becomes experience, choice, and a shift in perspective. Real or symbolic places in which cinema engages with the act of crossing and with the possibility of looking at the world through new perspectives—non-central viewpoints, open, fluid, and in constant motion.

For the first time, the Andaras Traveling Film Festival introduces two special cash awards, created in collaboration with SanDisk, with the aim of supporting and promoting the selected works:

Andaras Special Award – 1.000 €

Jury Special Award – 500 €

The call is open to short films completed from 2024 onwards, submitted in the competition categories listed below.
