Carmenia is a ten-year-old girl who is taken away from her mother to be entrusted to AMELìa, an artificial intelligence living in an ancient palace in the Calabrian hinterland. The adoption soon proves to be more difficult than expected: the adoptive mother’s attempts to win her over seem to fail. Carmenia only wants to go back home, to her real mom. And although impossible, Amelìa will have no choice but to comply.
